I am done with Dir en grey... haven't listened to them in about two years, and I doubt I'll be writing any more DEG fics. I jumped to CSI not long after, though I stopped watching after they killed off Warrick (WHY? WHY? WHY FIX WHAT'S NOT BROKEN?!) and I must say, George Eads' atrocious behavior is yet another reason I've abandoned ship.

My current addiction is NCIS (McGee! Tony! Gibbs! Abby! Ziva! Ducky! Palmer!) I think this is the only show where I like everyone (well, I still prefer Jenny over Vance, but he has his redeeming qualities... I mean, he hasn't asked Tony to go undercover with the daughter of an international arms dealer). Anyway, I am hoping to write more fics on my OTP: McNozzo. I just loooooove them. This is a show I can see myself watching for a very long time, unless, of course, they add some questionable romance *coughTivacough* to it.

NCIS

Half the Perfect World (Tony/Tim, PG-13; Tony knows he did the right thing; vague spoilers for 'Flesh and Blood')
On Happiness and Happiness Found (Tony/Tim, PG-13; Tim's got a surprise (and no, Tony, it doesn't involve handcuffs)
This Partridge Isn't in a Pear Tree (Tony/Tim, PG-13; Nothing says "I love you" better than food poisoning)
Black Out (Tony/Tim, R; The inevitable aftermath of the MTAC scene; mini-spoilers for 'Power Down')
Birthday Blues (Tony/Tim; PG-13; It's Tim's birthday and everyone remembered except for one Anthony DiNozzo)
For All We Have and Are (Tim/Tony, R; the boys get it on)

DIR EN GREY

Number One Crush (one-sided Kaoru/Die and implied Die/OC, R bordering on NC-17; Kaoru has one hell of an imagination)
Sleep in Crimson Sea (Die/Kaoru and implied Kaoru/OC, R; Die is angsting over Kaoru and thinking about why red is his favorite color)
Err... yeah (Kaoru/Die, R; Kaoru finds something under the couch and the question is: does it or does it not get moldy?)
Perfection (Die/Kaoru, R)
Fall Back Guy (Kaoru/Die and mentioned OC/Die, PG-13)
Unfaithful (Kaoru/Die and implied Kaoru/OC, R)
Changes (Die/Kaoru and Die/Toshiya, PG; The end of one is the beginning of the other)
Delights of Mortal Flesh (Die/Kaoru, NC-17)

My first foray into the wonderful world of puff pastry. I have to admit that I was a little bit apprehensive... don't ask why... but it was just a matter of defrosting and rolling and voila!

WARNING: There's lots of assumptions.

- assuming that they were fine when he was little, say Tony was close to his dad, until his mother’s death when he was eight, which is the start of the rift. Has it been mentioned the cause of her death?

- assuming that Sr. thinks he’s doing the best for Tony and sends him to boarding schools to:

                a. “toughen” him up if Tony was a mama’s boy

               b. keep him at arms length because he’s afraid that if anything were to happen to Tony – since he loved his wife dearly and she died – he wants to think that he wouldn’t be as affected

- assuming that although Sr. was proud that Tony found a career he’s happy with, Sr. has a hard time admitting it because he’s concerned that something bad might happen to Tony in his line of work. This could be the reason why Tony’s never told him about that bout of pneumonic plague he had, or anything that’s happened to him. A child who’s close to their parent would think first of running to mom or dad for comfort and reassurance, if anything.

- assuming that Sr. is trying to recapture what he had with Tony’s mom and that’s the reason for his many other wives… he’s trying to find (or was trying to find) a “substitute” mother for Tony, but Tony just ends up resenting them – and him – thinking that Sr. never really loved his mom if his dad’s trying to replace her.

to be continued...

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2010 is just as good as 2009, if not better. Lots of happiness and good health and love.

I've been enjoying my holiday break... re-watched NCIS and Deadwood and had a Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings marathon. Even saw Avatar, and though there were some moments *coughaliensexcough* that made me roll my eyes, overall it was a pretty good movie. It has a good moral story: don't kill trees. That will piss the natives off very much.

I also spent some time going back to the HP fandom and re-reading my favorite fics and squeeing over and over again. FYI, it's RW/DM and RL/SS, though I also love stories of Snape being foster parent to either Draco or Harry or even better... both of them. See: A Year Like None Other by [info]aspenlight .

Now, though, it's back to reality and back to work. It's also back to writing, hopefully, especially since there's a new NCIS episode tomorrow. That might give me some ideas, though really, I just saw Iced today and Tony's insistence that Tim might be gay is making the bunnies restless.

Merry Christmas to everyone :) I finally FINALLY finished my last minute shopping. I swear, every year I tell myself I'll start early but it never happens. Something must be done!

As tradition dictates (my tradition, at least) I went to see the tree at Rockefeller. I was surprised to see there weren't many people. I would have stayed longer but my dad and brother were too impatient to get out of the cold. Softies.

Now I'm off to grandma's house with thoughts of Tim and Tony to sustain me through the night away from my beloved dvr NCIS. The agony!

This started out as a "Tim and Tony bathtub scene" with a rather shady title *coughBabyIt'sColdOutsidecough* but a new and improved title changed the plot a bit... in a good way! Honestly, though, I was getting a bit sick of this after a week of writing, but it had to be done.

Title: On Happiness and Happiness Found
Pairing: Tony/Tim
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: extreme schmoop
Summary: Tim's got a surprise (and no, Tony, it doesn't involve handcuffs)
A/N: I figured it was about time Tim stepped up to the plate and let Tony know just how much he means to him. I have to blame thank [info]catwalksalone for convincing me to change the title. It was originally going to be "Baby, It's Cold Outside," and then she did her Christmas Carols and poof! Not only did I need a new title, the new one took this fic to an entirely new direction.

I've had it with WMG and Youtube! >:{

Anyway, I finally caved in and made my first NCIS video. The song was originally going to be Hall & Oates' "You Make My Dreams Come True," but after listening to it over and over, I realized they kept singing "girl" at the end, and well... neither Tony nor Tim are girls so I decided to change it Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop." It was the closest one I could think of with the length, and the feel of it is similar to the first song. I'm rambling... I hope you guys like <3

Certainly makes for an interesting story title, doesn't it? This year is the first time I'm joining in on the [info]smallfandomfest fest 06 and my chosen prompt involves Harry Dresden (of the Dresden files, book 'verse) with whom I am utterly in awe of and possibly even worship the ground he walks on.

Started writing today and - voila - 53 words out of a 1000 written so far. Pathetic. My head has constantly been on NCIS la-la land recently, with thoughts of sugar plum Tony's and Tim's dancing the tango in my mind, that I. Can't. Think. Straight. Not to mention I've been revisiting the Highlander fandom and reveling in all the DM/M immortal goodness out there /O\.

And why the hell did I choose the gen prompt?! Or, well, it doesn't necessarily have to be gen, just... I can't write incest, no matter how much I don't mind reading about them (depending on who, anyway).

I seriously need to re-read Blood Rites and Dead Beat, my two favorite books in the series.

Okay, I figured I have until January 31st to get myself together and WRITE something, so maybe a little procrastination wouldn't be out of the question. In fact, I'm procrastinating right this very minute. :D
